The way we adjust your spine varies from person to person depending on what we think is best and what you prefer. Some techniques are very hands-on, these are known as manual adjusting techniques.

Other techniques may use an instrument (activator) or a special table that has movable parts (Thompson Drop Table). These tools are necessary and the technique of choice when the spine may be aged or weakened due to degeneration or past injury. Some adjustments may result in a cavitation or popping noise and some will not. This noise is not necessary for a successful adjustment.

Our chiropractors are trained in and practice different techniques, it may be that one of our chiropractors may be more suitable for you and your specific needs. On your first visit your options will be discussed with you, also we recommend what we feel will work best for you, to ensure you are comfortable and to achieve the very best results.
